Frederick Police Charge Juvenile For Shots Fired Incident

Shots were fired after verbal altercation.


FREDERICK, MD. (DG)-Frederick Police have charged a juvenile for the shots fired incident in the city.

Police say they responded to calls for shots being fired in the 300 Block of Adam Road Monday December 19th at 6:30PM.

Officers who responded to the scene found a vehicle that had been struck by gunfire as well as other evidence of a shooting.

No one was injured, but witnesses said suspects on foot in the area fired at the vehicle after a brief verbal exchange with the driver.

During their investigation, detectives were able to identify the suspect as a juvenile.

The juvenile has been charged with first and second degree assault, reckless endangerment, and handgun on person.
