Police are also looking for a second person of interest.
Hagertsown, Md (KM) Hagerstown Police continue to investigate a fatal hit and run early Saturday morning. Karly Marie Hughes, 24, of Hagerstown was struck by a vehicle in front the Sheetz store in 300 block of the Dual Highway. She was taken to the Meritus Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
Hughes was walking home from work at the time she was struck.
Authorities say they’ve received numerous tips from the public. They say a suspect vehicle has been located, along with a person of interest. No other information is being released as police say it’s an ongoing investigation.
But officers say they need the citizens’ help in locating Brandon Dorman, 26, who was last seen with Hughes before she was hit by a car. Dorman fled the scene prior to the arrival of police and emergency personnel.
