Couple Arrested For Heroin Distribution

This follows a search and seizure operation on two addresses in Frederick & Thurmont on Wed.

 

Frederick, Md (KM) A man and woman from Thurmont are charged with heroin distribution. Clarence Albert Thieverage, 35, and Emma Grace Matthews, 18, were arrested on Wednesday following a search and seizure operation at 222 Deervalley Drive in Frederick, and 6320B Mountaindale Road in Thurmont.

Frederick Police say in  December. 2016, they received information that Thieverage and his girlfriend, Matthews, were selling heroin in and around Frederick. Several control buys were made by police leading to the search and seizure operation.

Thieverage is with  charged three counts each of possession of heroin and possession with intent to distribute heroin; two counts of distribution of heroin; and one count of conspiracy to commit heroin.

Matthews is charged with one count each of possession of heroin, possession with intent to distribute heroin and distribution of heroin.

Both were taken to the Adult Detention where a District Court Commissioner ordered them held without bond.

The Frederick Police Drug Enforcement Unit was assisted by the Sheriff’s Office, the Maryland State Police and the US Department of Homeland Security in executing the search and seizure warrants.
