Seven Charged In Armed Robbery Last Wed. Evening

It was an incident where shots were fired.


Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police have charged seven suspects in connection with an armed robbery where shots were fired.

Officers responding to Stonegate Park on Wednesday evening of last week to investigate reports of a robbery and shots fired.  All of the suspects had left the scene, but  they apprehended Jessica Medina-Castro, 20, after she was observed driving erratically in the area. Medina-Castro told police that her friend, Britania Gorman, 20, was involved in the robbery. She was later located and taken into custody. She  corroborated a lot of the details of the armed robbery which were related by Gorman and the victim.

Detectives applied for charges against five men. who have been apprehended. Edward Guerra, 21. Alex Bello, 18, Juan Daniel Sanchez, 20, Oscar Sanchez, 17, and Rosalio Onesto Sanchez, 21, are all charged with one count each of conspiracy to commit armed robbery, armed robbery, robbery, 2nd-degree assault, 1st-degree assault and reckless endangerment.

Police say that their investigation indicates that the victim and the suspects knew each other.
