Sentencing has been deferred.
Frederick, Md (KM) Sentencing has been deferred for a Prince George’s County man who was convicted Thursday 2nd-degree rape.
A Frederick County Circuit Court jury deliberated for an hour before finding Llosvani Galvez,32, of Temple Hills, guilty. The panel had heard two days of testimony before they were sent away for deliberations.
The State’s Attorney’s Office says in August, 2016, Galvez had repeatedly asked the victim for sex, but she said no. After that, he raped her.
His defense attorney says the sex was consensual.
Circuit Court Judge Theresa Adams revoked Galvez’s’ bond after he was convicted, and ordered a pre-sentence investigation.
