Cab Separates From Tractor Trailer After It Hits A Guardrail

It then fell from  a highway overpass with the driver inside.

 

Frederick, Md (KM)  Traffic came to halt on Route 15 in Frederick on Tuesday following a tractor trailer accident.

State Police say the truck operated by  Matthew Clayton Black, 31, of Chambersburg, Pennslyvania was traveling along Route 15 when it ran off the road, striking a guardrail just prior to West Seventh Street. The cab portion of the truck was separated, went down an embankment and landed on West Seventh Street with Black still inside.

He  was medivaced to Shock Trauma in Baltimore with what troopers say are non-life threatening injuries. No one else was hurt.

Route 15 and West Seventh Street were closed while crews removed the wreckage and cleaned up the fuel that spilled.
