Fire Damages Vacant Home Undergoing Renovations

No one was hurt.

 

 

Keedysville, Md (KM) 74 fire fighters were dispatched to a house fire in Keedysville early Saturday morning.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says personnel were sent to the 5228 Red Hill Road at 5:51 AM, and spent 45-minutes bringing the flames under control. No one was hurt.

Investigators say damage is estimated at $37,000 to the structure.

The home was vacant at the time and undergoing renovations.

The cause remains under investigations, but officials say the fire originated in the interior of the house.
