Frederick County Office Of Economic Development Names New Assistant Director

Heather Gramm once worked with Frederick City’s  Department of Economic Development.

 


Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Office of Economic Development welcomes Heather Gramm as its new assistant director. Gramm is a Certified Economic Developer who brings 15-years experience to the post.
She began her economic development career at Frederick City’s Department of Economic Development in 2002, serving as a business development specialist, where she lead business attraction, retention and marketing.
Gramm recently worked for the Maryland Department of Commerce as director of regional growth and retention.
She received her certification through the International Economic Development Council in 2007, and was named one of the “Leading Women in Maryland”  by the Daily Record in 2012.

Gramm received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration and Marketing form Hood College.

“I am elated to have Heather’s vast experience in Frederick County and the State of Maryland to strengthen our department’s resources and knowledge,” said Helen Propheter, director of the Office of Economic Development, in a statement. “She will hit the ground running, overseeing our business development team, working closely with our targeted industries and taking on new initiatives like creating a growth opportunities and strategy and expanding our attraction and retention plan.”
