Police say he struck the victim in the head.
Frederick, Md (KM) A Gaithersburg man was arrested in Frederick Monday morning for an assault. Dontai Lorenzo Williams, 18, was taken into custody following the incident.
Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Willowdale Drive shortly before 11:00 AM, and met a man who had been struck in the head. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The detective assigned to the case was able to identify Williams as the suspect. An investigation revealed that the victim was struck in the head at a residence. Both men knew each other.
Authorities say Williams returned to the scene, and was taken into custody. He’s charged with one count each of 1st-degree assault, and 2nd-degree assault.
