Frederick Police Arrested Man for Drugs and Selling Fake Drugs

FREDERICK, Md. (KR)  The Frederick Police Department arrested a man on Tuesday for drugs after reports of a disturbance in the city. Authorities say, just before 11PM they received a call of a reported shooting, and when they arrived they found two men fighting.

Police say, there was no shooting that had taken place, but after further investigation, officers detected the odor of PCP coming from 38 year-old, Preston Green.

Green was arrested and officers found a small glass vile of PCP, drug packaging materials, and a baggie that looked like cocaine, but after tested, was not an illegal substance.  Authorities say Green was packaging and selling the fake drugs as cocaine.

Green was taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for processing.
