Two residents were injured.
Sykesville, Md (KM) Three dogs perished in a house fire in Sykesville early Saturday morning.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says 40 fire fighters responded 1124 Pouder Road at around 12:13 AM, and spent 50-minutes bringing the flames under control.
Two of the home’s occupants got out through the door, and had to break a glass window to get a third occupant out. Those two residents were treated for lacerations from the glass.
Damage from the fire is estimated at $200,000 to the one-story, single family home, and $50,000 to the contents.
The cause remains under investigation.
