The Arc of Frederick County is currently seeking to hire a full-time Community Coach for The Arc at Market Street. Community Coaches in the day program are responsible for ensuring that each day is meaningful for people served. Coaches are entrusted with personal care and the wellbeing of each individual both in the building and in our community. Community Coaches work together to brainstorm various fun and meaningful activities happening in and around Frederick County to assist individuals in becoming active participants in our community.

Security Officer (632126)
This position is required to carry out security duties as directed by the client. The security officer is not a police officer and does not have any special powers of arrest. Candidate will interact, pursuant to the contract, with a variety of persons including clients, visitors, public safety officials, employees and the general public. They will also provide building and premises security for the client; conduct patrols and security checks; and respond to alarms as needed.

Seeking candidates to transport railroad crews up to a 200 mile radius from Brunswick; no CDL is required. Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license. Will be provided with a company vehicle and a gas card. Paid training is provided.

Quick Home Energy Check-up (QHEC) Auditor (640249)
The QHEC Inspector performs Quick Home Energy Check-Up (QHEC) Inspections designed to identify homes that are good candidates for energy saving improvements while also providing some low-cost energy efficiency improvements during the inspection. QHEC Inspectors work independently and visit 6 to 8 homes per day in Maryland. Their primary responsibility is to build a rapport with customers while educating them on Atlas services and energy efficiency rebate programs. Some key responsibilities: Build a Rapport with Homeowners through in-person interactions; Educate homeowners on Maryland Electric Utility Home Improvement Rebate Programs; Educate homeowners on Atlas home energy improvement services….and more.

Bioequipment Repair Specialist 1 (640254)
Repairs and trouble shoots electronic, pneumatic, electro-mechanical and mechanical equipment. Identifies parts and accessories necessary to perform repair. Approximately 25 pieces of equipment per week. Conduct routine and scheduled maintenance of medical equipment. Maintains documentation of inspections, equipment repairs, and failures. Approximately 25 pieces of equipment per week.

Biomed Equip Repair/Inv-Receipt Specialist (640256)
Use an automated and non-automated purchase request system to receive accountable medical and non-medical equipment. Approximate number of pieces of equipment/items will vary per week. Ensure that all governmental equipment is received and processed in accordance with all applicable regulations. Approximate number of pieces of equipment/items will vary per week.
Perform quality control measures by initiating follow-up equipment documents.

Machine Operator Filler (638432)
Prepares and maintains line equipment for running product that meets established production standards related to quality and productivity. Duties and Responsibilities: Operator will follow GMP”s at all times – Start-up inspection a. Inspect interior of filler bowl before AM sanitation b. Using a sanitizing cloth, sanitize interior of cap hopper, cap chute and lid c. If less than 24 hours down, complete AM Sanitation with Per Ox sanitizer d. After 24 hours down, operator will complete a modified wash e. Operator will call lab technician for pre-op testing f. Cap hopper lid will remain closed when not in use g. Cap hopper will be emptied daily – Operator will bring each product change over to the lab for testing, at this time the filler will remain off until lab gives approval…and more!
