NEW WINDSOR, Md. (KR) A garage fire in Carroll County is under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
Authorities say, 20 firefighters from the New Windsor Volunteer Fire Department were called to the 1600 block of Bowersox road in New Windsor just after 10:30 PM on Saturday. Officials say it took 15 minutes to bring the fire, in the interior of a one story detached garage, under control.
There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time. Total estimated loss to the building is $6000. Anyone with information, is asked to contact the State Fire Marshal’s Office at 410-836-4844.
