Frederick, Md (KM) It appears everything is getting back to normal in Frederick County following the recent winter storm. Highway Operations officials say all roads in the county have reopened.

They say crews finished up by 4:00 PM on Tuesday following the winter storm which came through during the overnight hours. Employees are expected to return to work on Wednesday at 6:00 AM to address any icy spots or drifting that may have occurred.

Frederick County government offices and facilities are accessible to the public and employees, and it’s anticipated they will open on scheduled Wednesday morning, county officials say.
The snow disrupted the county’s recycling schedule. Curbside recycling which was to take place on Tuesday was postponed due to the weather. For the remainder of the week, recycling collection will shift one day later than their usual day.

Officials says for many residential curbside recycling service, some roads may still be inaccessible for collection trucks. Drivers will try to get through a particular street. But if they can’t, residents are asked to leave out their recycles for collection the next day.
