Suspect Arrested For Destruction Of Property Incidents

Police say he targeted Frederick’s parking decks.

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police have charged a suspect in connection with several destruction of property incidents in city parking decks. Donald Eugene Bartholow, 49, who has no fixed address, was taken into custody on Wednesday.

He is charged malicious destruction of property over $1,000; malicious destruction of property under $1,000; malicious destruction of property scheme; and malicious mischief.

Officers were called to the Carroll Creek Parking Deck on East Patrick Street Wednesday morning at 7:08  for a broken window. Over the past two weeks, authorities say they’ve received reports of other incidents at Frederick city parking decks where windows were broken out.

Investigators identified Bartholow as a suspect. The Frederick Police Directed Patrol Team found Bartholow and placed him under arrest.
