Police say the shooting occurred on January 18th, 2017 on a walking path connecting Stonegate Drive with Hickory Hill apartments, where evidence was recovered from the scene.

The two victims went to Frederick Memorial Hospital with gunshot wounds. One was shot in the torso, the other in the leg. Both were medivaced to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Authorities said neither one had a life threatening injury.
