Victim taken to area hospital after being stabbed.
FREDERICK, Md (DG) – Frederick Police make an arrest for a stabbing that took place late Friday night.
According to a press release from Frederick Police, officers responded to a report of a fight at around 10:15 PM in the 1200 block of Little Brook Drive. By the time police arrived the fight was over and all the witnesses had left the scene.
A short time later the Frederick Police were notified by Maryland State Police that a man who was stabbed was transported to an area medical facility with multiple stab wounds to the upper body.
The victim said the stabbing happened during the fight on Little Brook Drive. The victim identified the suspect as Darnell Morris Mason.
Detectives took Mason into custody without incident.
