Hampstead, Md.(LR) The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says the cause of a townhouse fire in Carroll County on Monday night remains under investigation.
At 7:15 PM, thirty firefighters responded to a two-story wood frame dwelling at a townhouse center unit, located at 888 Gaming Square in Hampstead.
Firefighters spent 25 minutes bringing the flames under control.
No injuries were reported.
Damage is estimated at $30,000 to the structure.
Investigators say the fire originated in the basement.
