The victim has been identified as Wayne Allen Chadderton of Frederick.
Frederick, Md (KM) The pedestrian who was struck by a motor vehicle Thursday night along East Street near the MARC station has died. Frederick Police identified the man as 51-year old Wayne Allen Chadderton of Frederick.
Fire and rescue and police responded to the scene just before 9:00 PM. Medics began treating Chadderton, and he was transported to an area hospital.
Police closed that section of East South Street for two hours to conduct their investigation.
The investigation at this time is on going.
