Catoctin High School Art Department Chosen to Top 50 in National Competition, Hoping to become Finalist

THURMONT, Md. (KR)  The Catoctin High School Art Department has once again made it into the top 50 schools in the Custom Culture Vans Contest.

This is the second year in a row that the students at CHS have entered and been selected. According to Custom Culture Vans, only five schools will be selected to move on to the finals to win a grand prize of $50-thousand for their local school’s art department.

The purpose of the contest is to bring attention to diminishing arts education budgets.
