Frederick Police Collect More Than 1,000 Lbs. During Drug Disposal Event

The drugs will be disposed of safely.

 

 

Frederick, Md (KM) During last Saturday’s Drug Disposal Event, the Frederick Police Department says it collected more than 1,000 pounds of unused and expired medications. Authorities say the drugs will be disposed of safely.

 

Anyone who could not make to the drug disposal event on April 29th can drop off any unused or expired medications anytime at the Brunswick Police Department at 20 East A Street; the Emmitsburg Community Center at 300 South Seton Avenue; the Frederick County Law Enforcement Center at 110 Airport Drive; the Middletown Municipal Center at 31 West Main Street; and the Thurmont Police Department at 800 East Main Street.

 

Last Saturday’s event in Frederick took place at Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium, and was sponsored by the Frederick Police Department, Whitesell Pharmacy and the US Drug Enforcement Administration.
