Traffic Stop Leads to Heroin Arrest
FREDERICK, Md. (DG) – A traffic stop leads to the arrest of two women on drug charges.
Frederick Police saw a vehicle commit a traffic violation on Tuesday around 12:30 PM near 1275 W. Patrick Street.
The car was pulled over and police say the driver and front seat passenger were acting nervous, sweating profusely, and were unable to speak coherently.
The officer asked if there was anything illegal in the car. The driver, Kelsey Miller, said, “No.” The front seat passenger, Casey Schairer, produced a black eyeglass case containing six syringes with heroine and other paraphernalia.
Both women were placed under arrest and charged with possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia
