Officers Arrest Man Who Throws Beer Bottle At Police Car

He is charged with disorderly conduct and other offenses.

 


Frederick, Md (KM)  An Arlington, Virginia man has been charged in Frederick with disorderly conduct, 2nd-degree assault, resisting arrest,  malicious destruction of property less than $1,000,  and malicious destruction of property more than $1,000. . Police say Christian Steven Caballero, 25, was taken into custody late Tuesday night in the 100 block of South Bentz Street.

Authorities say as officers in the area approached Caballero, he threw a beer bottle at a police car which damaged the windshield. He also punched the hood of a police vehicle. Police say officers and nearby citizens engaged Caballero, and  he was eventually taken into custody without incident.

Police say because he was intoxicated, Caballero was taken to the hospital for medical clearance;  and then transported to the Adult Detention Center for processing.
