Fire Marshal’s Office says no explosives or hazardous materials found.
Hagerstown, Md (KM) The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office Bomb Squad was sent to Meritus Medical Center at 11,110 Medical Campus Road in Hagerstown Wednesday night for a suspicious package.
Officials say a backpack was discovered by hospital staff. It was brought into the emergency room with a patient.
Bomb Squad technicians examined the package and found it contained no explosives or hazardous materials.
There were no injuries, and no arrests were made.
