Authorities say road factors were a factor in the collision.
Millers, Md (KM) A teenager was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Millers Friday morning.
Deputies with the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the 5,000 block of Hoffmanville Road , where a youth was driving a Cadillac DeVille westbound along the road. It entered the eastbound lanes, continued off the roadway and struck a tree.
The operator was a 16-year-old boy who was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are not releasing his name.
Investigators say road conditions were a factor in this collision.
