Man Arrested Thurs. During Saturation Patrol

He’s wanted in Pa. on numerous active warrants.

 


Hagestown, Md (KM) Maryland State Police working saturation patrols in Washington County Thursday night apprehended a man following a foot chase.

Authorities say a trooper saw a driver in a Honda CRV running a red light. His vehicle then struck a parked car on Antietam Drive. The motorist fled. Roberto Robles, 33, was taken into custody following a foot pursuit.

State Police say  Robles has active warrants from Pennsylvania for a parole violation, and failure to register as an offender. He was charged with numerous traffic offenses, and was taken to the Washington County Detention Center.

Also on Thursday night, state troopers and officers from the Hagerstown and Hancock Police Departments were working a saturation patrol along Route 40 east of Crest View Road. They made one arrest for driving under the influence, and another for drug possession.

865 vehicles passed through the checkpoint that event.
