Attempted Murder Suspect From PG County Arrested In Frederick

He was found hiding in an attic.

 


Frederick, Md (KM) A suspect wanted for attempted murder in Prince George’s County was arrested Thursday night in Frederick. Sean Demarco Young, 30, of Landover, was taken into custody.

Frederick Police say officers from the Street Crimes Unit were contacted by Prince George’s Count Sheriff’s Deputies who had information that Young was at a home on Buell Drive, and had three active arrests warrants, one for attempted 1st-degree murder.

Authorities paid a visit to 2021 Buell Drive, and made contact with a resident identified as Theodore Hawkins, 29. Police entered the home and found evidence that led themĀ  to believe Young had entered the attic. They were able to make contact with Young. He was taken into custody after falling from the attic through the ceiling into a second-floor closet. He was taken into custody. Hawkins was also placed under arrest.

Police say they saw evidence of illegal drugs in the home, and obtained a search warrant.

Officers searched the townhouse, and found a large amount of PCP in an amount consistent with distribution.

Hawkins is charged with harboring a fugitive, possession of PCP and possession with intent to distribute PCP. Another resident of the home was also arrested. Chinique Danielle Morton, 31, is charged with possession of PCP: and possession with intent to distribute PCP.
