Crash Involving Two Motorcycles Sends Three To Area Hospitals

One patient  was flown to Shock Trauma.

 


Hagerstown, Md (KM) Three people were taken to area hospitals Saturday afternoon following a crash involving two motorcycles.

State Police say a bike operated by Alishia Nicole Harvey of Hagerstown was traveling along Raven Rock Road (Rt. 491) south of Ritchie Road near the Hagestown Watershed when she failed to negotiate a sharp curve. Her motorcycle left the roadway and struck a guardrail. Harvey was ejected and landed on the right shoulder of the roadway.

A second bike operated by Justin David Hoover of Hagerstown failed to slow down in time, and collided with the first motorcycle that came to rest in the Roadway. Hoover and his passenger, Lauren Nichole Row of Rohrersville, were also thrown from their bike.

Harvey was medivaced to University of Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore due to the extent of her injuries. Hoover and Row were taken by ambulance to Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown. .

State Police are asking anyone who witnessed this crash to contact the Hagerstown Barrack. They can call Master Trooper Leggett at 301-766-3800.
