Two Arrested For Burglaries In Westminster

Sheriff’s Deputies say the value of the items  taken was $34,000.

 

 

Westminster, Md (KM) Two people were taken into custody last week for a series of burglaries in the 200 block of Cranberry Road in Westminster. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says  Aaron Carl Thomas, 23, and  Melissa Ann Hartless, 25,  were arrested  on Friday.

Thomas is charged with six counts of 1st-degree burglary, one count of 4th-degree burglary, six counts of theft and two counts of malicious destruction of property. Hartless is charged with 1st-degree burglary and making a false statement to police. .

Authorities say the two are responsible for several break-ins beginning on June 12th and continuing through last week.

The total value of the items taken from the homes is more than $34,000,  and the value of the damaged property is over $700.

Deputies say the two had been living in an abandon town house on Alymer Court in Westminster.
