Thurmont, Md (KM) Thurmont Police Officers responded to a home on Saturday morning at 9:48 for a possible overdose, but ended up arresting a man who had passed out..
Authorities were sent to a home on Rouzer Court and located the victim lying unconscious on the bathroom floor. He became conscious, and was determined to have normal vital signs. He refused treatment from medics on the scene.
Officers say they found suspected heroin and heroin paraphernalia in the victim’s room.
The man was placed under arrest and taken to Central Booking. Tyler Cartee, 22, is charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was released on personal recognizance.
