Libertytown, Md. (KM) A Baltimore man was transported to Shock Trauma for treatment Thursday morning following a one-vehicle crash in Frederick County.
State Police say Damion Kennedy, 48, was driving a dump truck along Green Valley Road (Rt. 75) north of Jones Road in Libertytown when he lost control of the vehicle. The truck went off the roadway to the right, and overturned on to the travel lanes.
Troopers say the Green Valley Road in that area was closed for about three-and-a-half hours while crews cleaned up the mess. A detour was set up.
Kennedy is charged with traveling at a speed greater than reasonable, failure to control speed to avoid a collision, failure to obey a traffic control device and negligent driving.
Green Valley Road was reopened just before 1:00 PM. .
