He was taken into custody not too far from the scene of the crime.
Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick Police have charged a Brunswick man with a burglary. Wayne Anthony Campbell, 45, was taken into custody on Saturday.
Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of South Bentz Street at around 9:14 AM for a break-in which had just occurred. The victim said a man entered her home, and went through her purse, stealing some items. He fled on foot in the direction of West South Street.
Officers located Campbell in the 300 block of West South Street. The victim positively identified Campbell as the man who broke into her home.
He was taken to the Adult Detention Center for processing. Campbell is charged with 1st-degree burglary, 4th-degree burglary and theft less than $100.
