Vigil Held In Frederick To Support Those Impacted By Violence In VA

Many who attended left a note with a positive message.

FREDERICK, Md (DG) – Several hundred people came together last night in Frederick City by holding a vigil after the violence on Saturday in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Frederick Police closed down W Church Street between Market and Court during the gathering.

The vigil began at 6:30 PM and lasted about 30 minutes.

Local community leaders held the event to promote peace and solidarity. Many who attended left a note with a positive message.
