Police Arrest Suspect In 7/11 Robbery

He was taken into custody without incident.

 


Frederick, Md (KM) A suspect has been arrested in connection with last week’s armed robbery of the 7/11 store on Amber Drive. Frederick Police say Timothy Pernell Goines, 41, was taken into custody without incident Wednesday afternoon along Stratford Way. He’s charged with one count each of armed robbery, theft and 1st-degree assault.

Authorities responded to the store on Monday, August 14th, at 2:45 AM for a report of an armed robbery. An individual described as an African-American male walked into the 7/11 and displayed a knife. He demanded the money from the register The suspect fled on foot. No one was injured.

Detectives say they were able to identify Goines as the suspect through evidence gathered at the scene, and statements from the victim.

After he was apprehended, Goines was taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center for processing.
