Frederick Police says this follows a vehicle crash.
Frederick, Md (KM). The area of East 8th Street between North Market and North East Streets has been closed following a vehicle crash.
Frederick Police say officers responded to a vehicle crash in that areas at around 11:30 AM. The wreck brought down some power lines. Authorities say the area is closed while crews from the city’s Department of Public Works and Potomac Edison make repairs.
Pedestrian traffic is now permitted on East 8th Street, but it still remains closed to vehicle traffic.
Citizens are urged to abide by the closure signs.
