Police say he looked like he was under the influence of illegal drugs.
Frederick, Md (KM) A Frederick man has been charged with drug possession. Daniel William Purser, 37, was arrested Friday evening in the parking lot of the Sheetz Store at 1600 Rosemont Avenue in Frederick.
At around 6:28 PM, police say an officer on routine patrol noticed a vehicle parked in the lot with its engine running and no one inside. The driver came out of the store, and authorities say he showed signs of being under the influence of illegal drugs. Officers conducted an investigation, and found heroin and other drugs along with paraphernalia.
Purser was placed under arrest, and charged with two counts of drug possession, and one count each of possession of paraphernalia and possession of administrative equipment for drugs.
He was taken to the Adult Detention Center for processing.
