Both victims lived in Frederick County.
New Market, Md. (DG) – Two men died and two others were injuried, one seriously, after an accident on I-70 in Frederick County early Sunday morning.
Maryland State Police are reporting Felix I. Miranda Sanchez, 19, of Walkersville, and Antonio Lopez Chilel, 26, of Frederick, died as a result of injures they suffered during the accident.
Police responded to the crash on I-70 in New Market at the 66 mile marker at around 6:45 AM.
Investigators say the operator, Wilder De La Rosa Zepeda, lost control of the Ford F-350 pick-up truck, went off the roadway and struck a tree. He was taken to Shock Trauma in Baltimore for treatment of serious injuries.
Another passenger in the truck, Nelson De Paz Tista, was taken to Frederick Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Police say the accident remains under investigation.
