Police Arrest Four After Shots Fired In Frederick

Noone was injured.

FREDERICK, Md. – Frederick Police arrested four people after shots were fired in the city.

Officers were called to the 500 block of Cascade Way on Tuesday around 1:30 PM for a report of shots fired.

No one was injured and police were able to get a description of the suspects and their get away car.

The suspect’s vehicle was stopped and police took the driver, Dyshez Williams, and a juvenile passenger into custody.

Williams and the juvenile were charged with first degree assault and reckless endangerment.

During their investigation, police leaned that one of the suspects had a firearm and ran into a house on Boysenberry Lane. Officers served two search and seizure warrants on two homes on Boysenberry Lane and recovered evidence.

Two additional people were arrested.

Nicholas Benjamin was charged with first degree assault and possession of a stolen handgun. David Williams faces stolen handgun charges.
