Carroll County Authorities Set UP Phone Line Following Teacher Arrest

They want to know if there were other victims.

 

 

Westminster, Md. The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office in cooperation with the Maryland State Police Computer Crimes Section, Carroll County State’s Attorney’s Office and Maryland Child  Protective Services, has set up a phone line to accept information from victims of Kenneth Brian Fischer, 39, of Westminster.

He was a Carroll County  public school  teacher who was arrested early Wednesday morning at his home on a warrant from Virginia charging him with four counts of soliciting a minor. Fischer is currently not charged with any criminal offenses in Maryland.

FIscher was teaching Westminster Middle School when he was arrested.  He has also taught or was an administrator at North Carroll High School, Winters Mill High School, Francis Scott Key High School, Manchester Valley High School, Sykesville Middle School and Mount Airy Middle School since 2000.

Authorities say the phone line was established for victims to report incidents or receive information on counseling or other services.
