It will allow a contractor to install a concrete pipe under the roadway.
Frederick Md (KM) Ijamsville Road between Route 144 (Old National Pike) and Ritchie Way will be closed starting on Monday, October 16th, 2017. The Frederick County Office of Transportation Engineering says this will allow the contractor, CJ Miller LLC, to excavate the roadway and put in a nine-foot reinforced concrete pipe across Ijamsville Road.
The work is expected to last until November 3rd, 2017. There will be no access to Ijamsville Road in that area during that three-week period.
Traffic will be detoured on to Old National PIke, Ritchie Way, Ritchie Drive and Mussetter Road.
