The Maryland State Police, in Frederick, along with other federal and local law enforcement agencies are looking for the best and brightest.
Frederick, MD (LG) On October 5th, the Maryland State Police will host a “Career Night” at the Frederick Law Enforcement Center, located at 110 Airport Drive East, Frederick, Maryland.
“It’s an invitation for anybody who has an interest in careers in National Security, Public Safety or Emergency Services,” said Commander Barrack Lt. Wayne Wachsmuth. “We’ve extended invitations to more than 20 colleges, and every high school, from Carroll County and Frederick, all the way west to Garrett County, ” he continued.
Representatives and recruiters will represent 23 federal, state and local agencies. “It’s a long list that includes the FBI, ATF, DEA, SHI, U.S. Secret Service, National Park Service, Fort Detrick Police and Emergency Services, Frederick Police, Frederick County Sheriff’s Office, Brunswick Police, Hagerstown City Police, Natural Resource Police, Maryland Transportation Authroity and State Fire Marshals will be here.”
Domino’s Pizza and the Feed Company will provide food and refreshments.
The event will be held from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
