Frederick Rape Suspect Indicted by Grand Jury

Victor Gonzalez Guittierres is being held without bond.

Frederick, MD  (LG)  A Frederick County Grand Jury was pretty busy Friday morning. States Attorney Charlie Smith said several indictments were handed down for violent crimes, ranging from kidnapping, first degree rape, assaults and armed robberies. Smith said the kidnapping and rape case was one that most people are familiar with involving Victor Gonzalez-Guttierres, of Frederick.

“This was when the Frederick Police Department responded to a location for a sexual assault rape complaint. The victim reported that she was grabbed by the hair from behind, and had stated that three Hispanic males had slapped her, and one cut her on the chest with a knife. Her cell phone was taken, a rag was put over her mouth, and she was dragged to a vehicle and taken to an unknown location.  It was an apartment and unfortunately she was raped and had sexual offenses committed against her by two of the males, while the third suspect recorded the incident with a cell phone,” said Smith.

Also indicted on Friday was David Lee Killingsworth on charges of first and second degree assault, David Nichols-Sutton who is charged with two counts of reckless endangerment and assault offenses, Kelly Lynn Pindle, of Frederick, who is facing reckless endangerment charges, 4th and 2nd degree burglary offenses, and trespassing and harassment by course of conduct.

Smith said Pindle’s charges stem from a fire that leveled a barn in the 200 block of Monroe Avenue on August 5th.
