Application Process Opens For FY 19 Community Partnership Grant Program

Non-profit organizations are eligible to apply.

Frederick, Md (KM) Non-profit organizations which serve the human needs of Frederick County residents can begin applying for grants under the Community Partnership Grant Program for fiscal year 2019.. If approved, the grants can be used for operating expenses and one-time purchases, such as child development center equipment, or a van to transfer senior citizens  to adult daycare. The grants will specifically target community, seniors and housing needs.

“The Community Partnership Grants program allows the county to collaborate with many of our exceptional local non-profit organizations and leverage dollars for better outcomes,” says County Executive Jan Gardner, in a statement. “These non-profit human service agencies provide more effective and efficient human services than any one of us can provide alone.”

This is the fourth round of the grants program.

Applications will be available on line starting on Thursday, October 26th at www.FrederickCountyMD.gov/cpg.

Non-profits which have not previously applied for funding through the on-line Community Partnership Grant application process must attend a pre-proposal meeting on Thursday, October 26th at 2:00 PM at Winchester Hall. The deadline to apply is Thursday, November 30th.

Grant awards will be considered during the County’s budget-drafting process, and be announced in April, 2018, with funding beginning on July 1st of that year.
