No one is permitted to use the fields when they’re closed.
Frederick, Md (KM) Frederick City officials say all city sports fields are closed today (Thurs) due to rainy and wet conditions. That includes city leased fields and city school fields.
No one is permitted to use the fields when they’re closed. Violators could face penalties. Permitted users found using the fields when they’re closed could face be fined, and/or face the loss of field usage for the season. Unpermitted users utilizing closed fields could be issued a warning and/or citation.
The City’s Parks and Recreation Department posts all closings on the city website, www.cityoffrederick.com, by 2:00 PM on weekdays, and by 8:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday. Residents can also call the public information line at 301-600-6970, and press option 3.
