Authorities Release Identities Of Those Killed In A Crash On Tuesday

One was a pregnant woman from Union Bridge.

 

 

Westminster, Md (KM) The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office has released the names of the four who perished in a vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon on Route 31 and Old New Windsor Road.

Joshua Paul Summers, 30, who has a Baltimore address but is formerly of New Windsor, was operating a Infinity G37 which was traveling eastbound on Route 31 near Medford Road at a high rate of speed. He’s also known to use the name Joshua Paul Devine which is how he’s listed with the Motor Vehicle Administration.

The Sheriff’s Office say Summers passed another vehicle and lost control, striking an Infinity Q54 operated by James Johnson, 70, who has a New Windsor address. His passenger, was Lyndsay Stauffer, 31, from Westminster. Neither occupant was hurt.

Summers lost control of his vehicle  which struck a Mercury Cougar head on. The three occupants of the Cougar were killed along with Summers. They’re identified as Brittany Ellen Livesay, 19, from Union Bridge, who was the driver. The front seat passenger was Kirk Douglas Callis, 20, of Hampstead. Breanna Marie Evans, 19, was the rear seat passenger.

Authorities say Birttany Livesay was pregnant at the time of the crash.

Their bodies have been taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsies.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says this crash remains under investigation. Any eyewitnesses  are asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 410-386-5900.
