State Police Say Death Of Walkersville Man An ‘Apparent Homicide’

Investigators are asking for the public’s help in this case.

 

 

Walkersville, Md (KM) The Maryland State Police are calling the death of a Walkersville man found last weekend an “apparent homicide, ” and are asking for the public’s assistance in their investigation.

 

Gennady Errigo, 19, was found Sunday at around noon by two hunters in the 9300 block of Liberty Road along the wood line of a farm. He was wearing gray sweatpants, brown boots and a shirt tied around the waste.

 

Troopers responded to the scene, along with the State Police Homicide Unit, crime scene investigators and personnel from the Criminal Enforcement Division. Authorities are not describing the manner and cause of Errigo’s death.

 
Investigators are asking anyone who had contact with Errigo between Thursday, October 19th, and Sunday, October 22nd to contact the State Police Barrack in Frederick at 301-600-4150. They can remain anonymous.
