Grand Jury Indicts Woman Who Had Drugs In A Salt Container

She was arrested in October, 2018.

 


Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Grand Jury handed down one indictment on Friday. The panel charged Shaquela Monet Fleming, 29, with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and possession of Lorazepam, a prescription medication used to treat anxiety.

Fleming was arrested on October 18th of this year at a home in the 1,000 block of Riverwalk Way. The Sheriff’s Office says deputies from the tactical team and the narcotics section served a warrant at that address, and confiscated 4.8 grams of crack cocaine and 4.6 grams of powdered cocaine in a salt container with a false bottom. They also seizedĀ  $270 in cash.

An indictment moves this case to the Circuit Court where a trial date will be scheduled.
