Holiday weekend events in the region.

Friday, 12/1- Sunday, 12/3
On Saturday, the town of Shepardstown is encouraging the public to come out for their annual Christmas parade at 10 am.
Make sure you attend Harvester Holidays, sponsored by the IHC Club, on Saturday starting at 10 am at the Rose Hill Manor Frederick County Farm Museum! There will be a hay wagon ride with Santa through downtown Frederick that is free to the public until 2 pm.
Stick around downtown Frederick and head to The Delaplaine Arts and Crafts Expo on Saturday from noon to 5! Admission is free!
Then, head over to Middletown for Christmas in the Valley on Saturday night. The festivities kick off at 4 pm on Main Street in Middletown, featuring fun activities for the whole family, including, Mrs. Claus Story Telling, the tree lighting ceremony with Santa’s arrival and a holiday musical program and puppet show!
Don’t miss the annual HO HO HO Show holiday and craft bazaar at The Frederick News Post Building on Sunday! There will be over 30 vendors featuring local artisans, holiday gifts and décor, kids’ crafts and prizes! The event runs from 10 am to 3pm and admission is free!
Friday, 12/8- Sunday, 12/10
The New Market Volunteer Fire Company is hosting a Christmas Mega Bingo and will be giving away over $11,000 in cash prizes on Friday (December 8th)! Doors open at 5 pm and they’re encouraging the public to come on out and support them!
Head to Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium on Saturday December 9th from 10 am to 1 pm for the Frederick Keys Holiday Event! The event is free and fans of all ages are encouraged to attend and bring a toy for Toy for Tots, meet Keyote Claus, participate in the cooKEY contest and get some last minute shopping at the Keys team store for gifts and 2018 season tickets.
Join The Brunswick Volunteer Ambulance and Rescue Company Auxiliary on Saturday (12/9) for a day filled with activities! They will be sponsoring a big prize basket raffle at the BVA & R Building with over $2,000 in prizes! Drawings will be held during “Breakfast with Santa” from 6 to 11 AM! Then, stick around for their Christmas Open House from 1 to 4 PM and take pictures with Rudolph, participate in arts and crafts, decorate cookies and so much more!
Join Shepherd University for their annual Holiday Gala concert with performances on Saturday and Sunday (December 9th and 10th)!

Friday, 12/15- Sunday, 12/17
Head to the Frank Theater in Shepherdstown to catch performances of The Nutcracker on Saturday and Sunday (December 16th and 17th) and a Tuba Christmas concert on Saturday!
