Frederick, Md (KIM) The Frederick County Board of Elections will be relocating to 340A Montevue Lane. The new offices will be open for business on Monday, December 18th, right across the street from its current offices at the Bourne Building.
County officials say the new facilities will provide more space for the Board of Elections to administer federal, state and local elections for the county’s 169,000 registered voters. . It will also have a dedicated meeting and training room. Previously, the county’s 900 election judges were trained in a room shared by other government agencies.
Prior to the move, the County’s Board of Elections’ offices will be closed from Wednesday,. December 13th through Friday, December 15th.
Despite the move, the Elections Office phone numbers and e-mail addresses will remain the same. The telephone number is 301-600-1007. Election Director Stuart Harvey’s e-mail is [email protected].
