Police say he was selling drugs from his home.
A man who was allegedly selling drugs from his home has been arrested. Frederick Police took Demetrius George Brown, 37, into custody on Tuesday after serving a search and seizure warrant on his home in the 100 block of Willowdale Drive.
Frederick Police Officers with the Street Crimes Unit confiscated a quantity of crack cocaine which they say is indicative of drug distribution, along with a handgun and $1400 in cash. Authorities say Brown is a convicted felon and prohibited from possessing a firearm.
Brown is charged with one count each of illegal possession of ammunition; use of a firearm in a drug trafficking crime; possession of cocaine; possession with intent to distribute cocaine; and possession of drug paraphernalia. He’s also charged with three counts of illegal firearm possession.
